Society Part 1

I was chatting with my outside- school guy friends (lets call them umm Zayn and Liam) and a couple of my other outside- school girl friends (mmm Kendall, Carrie, Bree) a couple of days ago and our conversation suddenly turned to shallowness and how people judge other people on how they look like on the outside without even batting an eyelid. I'll get more into that later but let me show you this picture I found while I was browsing through tumblr:













And I thought to myself this is so true.

If you think about it its true. And therefore we are going back to our conversation.

So heres how our conversation went, we were talking about what will happen if Zayn went out with Jenna (another girl) and we were talking about them getting together. He immediately jumped back and say "EW, GROSS! SHES SO UGLY!" After that comment things started to get heated.

So Zayn is famous (in out group) for making Kendall irritated by calling her shallow, only cares about a guys looks etc. Kendall then shot back at him "what a hypocrite! How can you say that I only care about  looks? For all you may know Jenna might be a really nice person! But you will never know because you are judging her by her looks."

Then Zayn retorted that she as well was shallow. Kendall replied "I can be shallow sometimes, but at last I admit it instead of being a hypocrite like you!"

So then all six of us got into a heated debate. on And as it turns out its true. Society doesn't give a damn if you are nice on the inside if your not attractive on the outside.

Even if you may be ugly but nice on the inside, no- one will know that! Because everyone judges one another for their looks! And I'm not trying to be a saint here. I admit I am guilty of judging people by their looks, but my point is that society itself is it were a person it would be ugly, self absorbed, a bully and gossiper.


So after that Bree piped up "What if one day you meet a pretty girl and she acts all nice and stuff, but when you get married she turns out to be mean and self obsessed? When all along right next to her, there was a plain unattractive girl in which you paid no attention to all these years and as it turns out she's been the right one for you? Not mean, not shallow, not self obsessed?"

Liam butted in and scoffed "But I would rather put up with a mean pretty girl than put up with a ugly chick."

Which brings me to the conclusion that people no matter what race, ethnicity or personal background are in one way or another SHALLOW. They wouldn't bother to get to know an unattractive girl better, they would rather spend all their time and effort getting to know a girl whose pretty but smart and dumb.


My point number two is that guys would put up with a pretty but dumb chick because they feel SUPERIOR to them. It makes them feel "important" that he has the one with the brains. But when other girls look at them (aka the guys with pretty but dumb girlfriend or partner) what runs through the other girls head is "omg why the eff would he go out with her is he stupid?!"


And if you noticed even thought the guy feels so called superior to them, other girls just think that the guy is plain dumb for falling for a brainless girl like her. So even though he thinks that she is a great catch, no other person would agree with him.

I mean would you rather spend your time wowing a pretty and smart AND successful girl or spend your time wowing a pretty but dumb but unsuccessful girl that just leeches of your money? And I bet you most people out there (especially NH *inside thingy) would pick the pretty girl that leeches of your money.

Random Sunday Thoughts

Why do places so far away seem to attract our attention? And then finally when you get there, your trip turns out like crap?

For example, if you live in XX for your whole life, and one fine day you read a book about lets say umm VV. Then you suddenly get all hyped up about someday traveling to VV and eating all of their yummy food, sightseeing etc! Then lets fast forward to like five years later. You have finally saved up enough money to go to VV. Then when you get there, these things happen:

1) Your hotel room stinks of litter and trash

2) Your tour guide turns out to be the creepy guy that stalks you (kidding, but you never know o.o lol) 

3) They give you only 5 minutes to see the historical sites that took years to build

4) You miss your bus so your deserted in a foreign country

5) You fall into a fountain (true story)

And so many more things happen! Every one has a different perspective in how you view a certain place, but most of us would judge a country/ place/ thing/ person/ object in a matter of minutes. No one will go back if their first visit was a horrible. If you think logically, its true. Why would you want to spend your time, money and effort to make another trip there, when you "know" what your going to expect? Even if the trip the second time is better, no one would really want to go again so they will not experience the "good" side of the city! Its not necessarily that the country itself is horrible, but the people or the experiences in that place may be. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
